Return Policy

Prior authorization and an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number are required before a return can be processed. Contact us at [email protected] or call 800-938-7278. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

It is the customer’s responsibility to verify application eligibility prior to installation. Air Power is not responsible for parts installed incorrectly due to suggested applicability. It is the duty of the purchaser, installer, or mechanic to determine eligibility.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Engines
  • Propellers
  • Items marked as “Non-Returnable” or “Non-Cancellable” by the manufacturer
  • Parts that have been used, tested, or installed
  • Software or digital learning material.
  • Parts with a shelf life
  • Clearance or final sale items
  • Special order items

Standard Return Eligibility

Eligible items may be returned for credit or refund within 45 days of shipment if the following conditions are met:

  • Returned in original manufacturer packaging, free of markings or labels
  • All original documentation is included, including FAA Form 8130
  • Items must be new, uninstalled, and resalable
  • All components and instructions from the manufacturer are included
  • A 10% restocking fee applies (minimum $50)

Returns requested after 45 days are subject to approval and may incur additional fees:

  • Must meet the same conditions as listed above
  • 10% restocking fee applies (minimum $50)
  • Manufacturer test or recertification fees may apply
  • Credit will be issued to your Air Power account

Defective Items

Items returned after 40 days must follow the applicable manufacturer’s warranty policy. Contact Air Power for assistance with warranty processing.

Exceptions

Some manufacturers charge restocking fees greater than Air Power’s standard rate. If applicable, these fees will be passed on to the customer.

Please include your RMA number on the outside of the shipping box (not the product packaging). Email [email protected] with your RMA and tracking to expedite processing. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of receipt and inspection. COD returns or damaged items will be refused.

ASA Cover Return Program

Air Power participates in the ASA Cover Return Program for eligible, unsold, and unused ASA books purchased through our wholesale program. Returns must be received within 45 days of a new edition’s release and meet ASA’s requirements:

  • One clean, reusable cover per book
  • ASA Cover Return Form must be included
  • Returns must include ASA items purchased directly from Air Power
  • Return shipping is not covered by Air Power
  • Credit is applied first to past-due invoices, then placed on account for future ASA purchases
